lavender.

Hi! I’m lavender (any/all).

Or ashly, or ash, or whatever else I go by online. You may have already figured, but I don’t go by this IRL, and it’s fairly unlikely I reveal my IRL name on here anytime soon. However, as I start posting about my research and citations, I will have to eventually.

I’m currently working in an undergraduate position at the university I work at. I’m a fairly non-traditional student, at least for now. My current coursework is not very intense, just

I’m currently working on getting some papers published. You’ll hear about it, probably.

My main research interest is in Physics. I’m still at an undergraduate level, so I’m not specializing yet. However, most of my projects currently are in code, since I just don’t have the time to do anything in person. However, I’m hoping to get some more physics-related projects in the future. My current interests are analog computing and chaos control, but these might change. We never know!

What’s this page for?

Mostly, I just want more writing experience. Writing is really fun for me - it’s a fun way for me to crystalize my ideas, sort of like a dream. I write in a fairly loose style, as you might be able to tell. Very conversational. My goals at this moment is to have better control over sincerity and mood.

When there’s an issue I’m passionate about, I want the text to tighten up around the reader. Have the reader feel the concern I feel. Communicate myself, in such clarity that the other person can feel what I’m feeling.

I want to be able to then loosen up my writing! Make it more friendly, more approachable. It’s not fun to have writing that scares people.

What content will be on here?

For the moment, mostly blogs. In the future, research, probably. But that would come with an overhall of the page too.

In addition, I have a few projects I’m working on in private. However, if I decide to move them public, you would find them here too :3
